At the Annual Council and Mayor Making held on Monday 9th May 2022, Councillor Mark Goodge was elected as Mayor of Evesham for the forthcoming civic year.
Councillor Goodge’s consort and Mayoress will be his wife, Emma Goodge.
Councillor Sarah Schaathun was elected as Deputy Mayor for the forthcoming civic year.
It’s traditional for the Mayor of Evesham to use civic events throughout the year to raise funds for local charities and voluntary groups. This year, the Mayor’s charities will be:
- Caring Hands in the Vale
- Evesham Shopmobility
- Evesham Girl Guides
