Evesham’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations will start at 2pm on Thursday 2nd June with the official Jubilee Proclamation in the Market Square.
On Thursday evening, you can watch the lighting of Evesham’s Jubilee Beacon from the vantage point of Hampton Ferry.
We’re sure you’ll all be decorating your homes and businesses to celebrate the Jubilee, so on Friday 3rd June the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and outgoing Mayor will be coming round to take a look so that we can award prizes to the best-decorated premises. Don’t worry, we’ll only be looking from the roadside, so you don’t need to be in or make any special preparations for us!
On Sunday afternoon we’ll be holding a Picnic in the Park at Abbey Park, with live entertainment from the bandstand to complete your weekend. Come along and celebrate the Jubilee with family and friends.
