Following a series of reports on the condition of the Almonry building, an Expression of Interest was made to the MEND fund. The council was invited to apply in 2022 but its full application was sadly unsuccessful. A further Expression of Interest and more detailed application were made in 2023 and we are delighted to report that it was successful.
The council discussed its applications and the implications of funding the matchfund over a series of meetings. Reports and minutes from these meetings can be found below.
